*Rotations for the first through third graders consist of 30 minute periods which includes Power Hour, KidzLit and physical education. Fourth through sixth graders consists of 45 minute periods which includes Power Hour and physical education.

Welcome to McKinley Clubhouse

McKinley Clubhouse after-school program provides a safe, fun and enriching program, focusing mainly on, but not limited to the After-School Education and Safety (ASES) Grant requirements. In addition to the ASES requirements, our main goal at McKinley Clubhouse is to instill both character and self-confidence in our youth through our academic and enrichment programs covered in five core areas: Character and Leadership, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. We believe that every moment is a teachable moment when it comes to being great!

  • Science Explorers: Innovative, hands on experiences with science

  • KidzLit: Literacy enrichment program

  • Image Makers: Photography concepts and practices

  • Sports and Fitness: Outdoor games and activities focusing on getting in shape and good sportsmanship

  • Smart Moves: Teaching our members responsible behavior

  • Fine Arts: Encourages artistic expression

  • Creative Writing: Teaching our members to express themselves through critical thinking

  • Triple Play: Emphasizing good nutrition, regular physical activity and improving overall well being, allows club members to find their inner strength and self confidence
