Warm Greetings of the Season....

As 2009 draws to a close, I wanted to thank all of you for your generous support. I wanted to share how blessed I am to be the CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Marin and Southern Sonoma Counties.

First and foremost I am grateful for the children we serve. Whenever things get difficult, I visit one of our Clubs to see the kids in action and it reminds me why we are all here. I see Brayan Araiza, Corona Ranch Club member, who was involved in gang activity at an early age and now is an honor roll student and a starter on the Casa Grande High School football team. Brayan's goal is to go college and then to law school.

Second, I care deeply about my staff. They are deeply committed individuals who work long hours and believe firmly in the mission of the organization. They make a tremendous impact each and every day through caring relationships that are established with the children we serve.

Third are our board members and volunteers. They give countless hours of service to ensure that children realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

Fourth are the supporters who have not turned a deaf ear to the needs of the kids and of our organization. It's been a tough year economically. And I have gone to many of you to ask for your continued support. I THANK YOU for hearing me and for responding.

I offer you and your family and all your loved ones the very warmest greetings of the season along with my hope that the new year is a happy, healthy and productive one for you. Thank you for all that you do.
